Rose, Cardamom and Pistachio Ice Cream





Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Whole Milk
  • 1 and Half Cup Rose Petals 
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Pistachios Chopped
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 4 Whole Cardamom Crushed
  • 1 tbs Rose Water


Ice Cream Maker Steps:

Ø  Wash Rose petals in hot water and finely chop them

Ø  Bring milk to boil, add Rose petals and sugar. Let everything dissolve and bring to room temperature.

Ø  In the Ice Cream Maker add room temperature milk mixture, whipping cream and remaining ingredients. Set Timer to 60 Minutes and Start

Ø  Scoop Out Ice Cream and let it chill in freezer - ready to be served


Without Ice Cream Maker:

Ø  Wash Rose petals in hot water and finely chop them

Ø  Bring milk to boil, add Rose petals and sugar. Let everything dissolve and bring to chilling temperature.

Ø  Make Whipped Cream with hand blender until peaks

Ø  Add the chilled milk mixture and remaining ingredients. Mix gently until combined well. 

Ø  Chill in Freezer - ready to be served.
