My son took the accelerated math test in 4th grade and did not make the selection. I was away during that time and my husband had no clue. I am still clueless of what value it adds to a child's academic growth, however, I knew he was not being challenged enough throughout his 5th grade general Math program.
5th grade math test was based on a selection criteria. Harsha scored enough to be qualified for the test. Harsha had some extra time during quarantine, so I did my research and we worked on it together.
I am happy that he got into the program. I wanted to record my journey and the amazing resources available for practice.
