Easy Shahi Paneer




Shahi paneer is one of the famous indian dishes worldwide. There is a barely any Indian restaurant without this dish. It is mozzarella cubes in mild creamy sauce.

Ingredients:
1. 2 Medium Onions – Very Finely Chopped
2. Crushed tomato – 1 cup
3. Green Chilies – According to Taste
4. Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 Tbs
5. Turmeric – 1 Tsp
6. Garam Masala (Shahi Paneer Masala) – 2 Tsp
7. Coriander Powder – 1 Tsp
8. Coriander Leaves – Very Finely Chopped for Seasoning
9. Sugar – 1/8th Tsp
10. Salt to Taste
11. Milk – 1 Cup
12. Paneer – 1 Packet small
13. Cream (Optional) – ¼ Cup
14. Cashews (Optional)- ¼ Cup Chopped Finely
15. Shahi/Normal Jeera – 1Tbs
16. Oil/Ghee – 2-4 Tbs ( Depends on the occasion)


Instructions: 
1. Use the pan with a lid
2. Add Oil, when heated, add Jeera and wait till they splutter
3. Now add Ginger Garlic Paste and Fry till light brown
4. Add Green Chillies
5. Add Onions
6. Now add Turmeric, Garam Masala, Chilli Powder, Sugar, Cashews, Salt
7. Wait till the oil Oozes out
8. Now add Tomato and again wait till Tomatoes are cooked and Oil is oozing Out a little Bit
9. Add Paneer and Mix
10. Add Milk and Cream and Stir
11. Now let Simmer for till it gets closer
12. Now add Dhania Powder
13. Cook for 5 minutes
14. Add Coriander leaves and serve Hot
Serve with Naan, Paratha, Rice or Roti
