Hello Everyone,
Happy New Year!
I hope you are all doing
happy, healthy and safe.
If you have defrosted
chicken, then this recipe will take less than 10 minutes to prepare and about
10 minutes to cook in the Air Fryer.
1.
Prepare Potato Chips
·
In
good size Ziploc, add potato chips. Now crush the potato chips using a rolling
pin or a pestle. The chips should be crushed to tiny bits and not powder.
Tip: You can use Pretzels or Corn
Flakes too.
·
Save
this in a separate bowl and keep it aside.
2.
Prepare Chicken:
·
In
the same Ziploc, Add spices of your choice. I used Salt, Garlic Powder, Pepper,
Green Chili Chutney, and Red Chili Paste.
·
Add
medium or small size chicken and mix thoroughly.
·
Now
roll the Ziploc under the rolling pin or pounder or a heavy spatula. This does
two things.
o
Makes
sure that the chicken is even in thickness.
o
All
the flavors are well absorbed.
3.
Beat an egg with salt and pepper and
keep it aside.
4.
Toss Chicken – First in Egg then in
Potato chips and layer on the air fryer plate.
5.
Cook on “Air Fry” mode for 17-22 minutes. I sprinkled some finely chopped Cilantro, which is totally unnecessary.
Side Note: I made this for the kids,
but my hubby has requested it to be made again. This is a good thing, coz the
man only likes Indian food.
